Boursa Kuwait ends week in green
Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 97.5%

Mubasher: All Kuwaiti indices have risen in the final week ended 1 August 2019, as all of the All-Share, Premier, and Main markets increased by 0.76%, 0.7%, and 0.94%, respectively.

The All-Share index ended Thursday’s trading session at 6,126.49 points, 46.22 points higher than 6,080.24 points in last week.

The All-Share index indicated resumption of an uptrend, according to a capital market analyst.

Boursa Kuwait’s All- Share index succeeded to rebound from the support level 6,015 points, capital market analyst Hassan Al Kandari told Mubasher.

Such rebound signifies an uptrend for the index in the short run with around 6,350 points being the next target, Al Kandari added.

The All-Share index is facing resistance levels at 6,145 points, 6,170 points, and 6,270 points, respectively, Al Kandari pointed out, while support levels lie at 6,015 points and 6,020 points as key support levels, and 5,985 points as a second support level.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover increased by 97.5% to 1.36 billion shares from 686.35 million last week.

The liquidity of Boursa Kuwait increased by 50.5% to KWD 194.43 million from KWD 129.33 million.

On a weekly basis, the number of transactions grew by 31.8% to around 40,930 from nearly 31,060 last week.

Boursa Kuwait’s market cap rose by 0.74% to KWD 35.455 billion ($116.8 billion) from KWD 35.194 billion last week, with around KWD 261 million gains.
